Description
Isolated Boost Converter 5v-27v for Light Loads
This boost converter uses a B0505S 1 watt isolated 5 volt input module to provide a floating 5V output.
The floating 5V is boosted by the AP3012 switcher, adjustable from around 5V (input voltage) to 27V max.
This is useful when ground loops need to be prevented, and multiple circuits can be used in series like batteries to create higher overall voltages, as long as the overall load current at the output does not load down the 1 watt 5v isolation device at the boost converter input.
