Description
ICOM PTT rj45 transponder
Interface allowing two ICOM radios to be connected back-to-back in order to create a transponder.
When one radio receives a signal, the speaker output power triggers an optocoupler, which switches the second radio into transmit mode.
This circuit is compatible with ICOM radios equipped with an RJ45 microphone connector, such as the IC-F510 model in my case.
