FlippIR - IrDA and Accelerometer board for the Flipper Zero
FlippIR: IrDA + motion add-on for the Flipper Zero
FlippIR is a small add-on board for the Flipper Zero that gives it a real
IrDA transceiver (Vishay TFBS4711) and an accelerometer (ST LIS2DE12) on the
GPIO header. The Flipper's own IR port is a 38 kHz remote-control port and
cannot talk to a Game Boy Color or to the Pokewalker/DS IrDA link; FlippIR
puts the transceiver on the STM32's USART1 IrDA pins (GPIO 13/14), so it can.
It runs Flipwalker (a Pokewalker on the Flipper, verified with
HeartGold/SoulSilver) and FlipGift (Gen II Mystery Gift to a real Game Boy
Color cart). 26.4 x 12.5 mm, two layers, 0603 passives, stands upright on
pins 9-18. Documentation: github.com/Jackv-makes/FlippIR-hardware
Assembly
Eleven SMD parts on the top side plus a 10-pin right-angle 2.54 mm header
(hand soldered). The accelerometer group (U2, C3, R3, R4) can be left off
for an IR-only board; the IR side does not use them. Check U1's and U2's
rotation in the placement preview: U1's lenses face away from the header.

Disclaimer
Hobby project by a non-engineer. The board runs off the Flipper's 3.3 V pin;
check part orientation and the 9 / 3V3 marking before plugging it in. The
diode only protects against plugging it in backwards. Provided as is.
