ESP8266 Remote Relay
This pcb has a WeMOS D1 Mini with ESP8266 to control the on board relay.
Control of the relay can occur wirelessly, and the ESP8266 UART pins are also available on a header to optionally allow an external RS485 or bluetooth module to be used.
The Github project uses ESP-NOW to communicate between this relay control board and another ESP8266 board that uses a current transformer: https://www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/SCT013_Current_Monitor_for_ESP8266_cc7ccd2e.html
When the current transformer detects a minimum amount of current present, it uses ESP-NOW to trigger the relay momentarily, wirelessly.
It is used to activate a doorbell chime in a secondary location (basement) when the main floor doorbell rings (it can't normally be heard in the basement).
