Covox Speech Thing Sound Card for Parallel Port LPT with resistor DAC - Short verion
The short version has no switches, variable low pass filtering as the long board and uses less resistors. You have a set of two types of resistors with a proper 1/2 relation and space is more important for you, then take the short variant. You will need less parts and get a more compact solution.
