C128/C64 U32 Kernal-Switcher Adapter for Switchless 8x Multi-Floppy Speeder with 32KB/512KB RAM Expansion for the Commodore C128 DCR
The Kernal-Switcher Adapter is a addon for the 8x Multi-Floppy-Speeder 32KB/512KB RAM Expansion for the C128CDR. The Kernel Switcher Board is an adapter board for a 512 KB EPROM (27C040 or 29F040) for the 8x 64 KB kernel ROM banks. It is installed into the U32 socket of the C128DCR. The switcher has an A16/A17/A18 connection that must be connected to the Multi-Speeder Board. The Multi-Speeder Board synchronizes the switching of the floppy drive kernel with the corresponding C128/C64 kernel ROM bank. This allows the simultaneous switching of the 1571 kernel and the C128/C64 kernel via DOS commands. The same ROM banks are always activated.
