Arduino Project Platform
I don't really know how to explain this one without leaning heavily on the description for the 6502 Project Platform, the idea was to have a common breakout board configuration consisting of just 16 digital pins (the least common denominator) - that way I could can prototype and - later on if I want to - produce standalone Project Boards that could be used across several project platforms.
The 400 point breadboard fits perfectly in the space assigned to it, when a project is attached the breadboarding area is covered up. What that means is that I can take the 4x4 LED cube as shown in the picture, then use it directly with either my 6502-based single board computers or on an Arduino-based platform board instead. The overall gain from doing this is that I can learn 6502 assembly, simply by converting code I've earlier developed and verified using an Arduino.
