6502 Project Platform (RC6502, RC-ONE, RC6802, BE6502)
Arduino's are cool, but what if you want to use one of my retro-computer builds such as the RC-ONE, RC6502, RC6802 or BE6502 to build something? Well, now you can - thanks to the 6502 project platform board! You plug your retro-computer into the supplied backplane-connector at the back, build your circuit on the breadboarding area and now you have a complete CPU trainer like people used to have fun with back in the 70s and 80s.
This is the 6502 version of the project platform, on the board you have a 6522 VIA giving you a total of 16 digital I/O pins to play around with. The idea behind the project platform is to allow a standardized set of these 16 digital pins, so that any projects slotted on top or built up on the breadboard would look practically the same no matter the platform used. Currently there is also an Arduino Nano version, in this way you can create hardware projects and then see if you can code the software for it on both Arduino and 6502 assembly - fun for the entire family!
The computer shown in the pictures is the RC-ONE, also there is the Covox project shown plugged into it as well. This is one of the projects I've been having fun with lately, what will you build with yours?
Check out my github page for more information about what all of this is about, including the various projects I've been working on!
