BE6502 Build a 6502 computer (SBC-module revision A)
Ben Eater has been a huge inspiration for many getting into building computers using basic electronic building blocks, his videos are truly excellent and it is no wonder he's often referred to as the Bob Ross of Breadboards! His latest project is building a 6502 computer on a breadboard, a video series that at this moment in time still has not concluded so there might be changes along the way (this build covers up to part 4)!
Anyway, I've not had much success with building things on breadboards so I tend to design the PCBs first and test things later. In order to reduce the costs, I've designed the various bits as a set of separate modules that can be used together to follow along with the videos. This is the SBC-module, which means it covers the actual computer parts of the videos while the Arduino Mega monitoring solution/backplane and a slow clock will also be made available.
A short clip of the computer counting up in binary is included below, here it is clocked using the additional clock module.
