After you've mounted few components on this little PCB, you can connect a usual Breadboard to a wide range of devices that ends with the IDC 20 connector.


The device can be a PLC interface board - or one of your Arduino prototype wired on the breadboard.


This Adapter could be placed at one of the side of the breadboard, turned in manner that the IDC connector will stay out of the breadboard area, saving all the not used connections.


The 20 pins are to be mounted arranged as a 20 pin Dual In Line Integrated Circuit.


To help you in this montage, the pins must force a little in their holes. You can also use the Breadboard to hold the pins aligned in the right position, ortogonal to the plane, but in this case you need to pay attention to avoid overheating the pins, because this could damage your Breadboard.


For the 20 pins, I have reused the pins of a 20 IDC connector, coming from my collection of damaged connectors (!).
