This project centers on creating a smart lighting system that dynamically turn ON and OFF an addressable WS2812B LED strip based on ambient light intensity and proximity sensing. The system uses an ATtiny1614 microcontroller as the core, interfacing with a VCNL4200 sensor to monitor environmental conditions.

The VCNL4200 combines ambient light and proximity sensing in a compact module, providing real-time data. The ambient light sensor (ALS) measures the surrounding brightness, while the proximity sensor detects objects or movement within a defined range. These inputs are processed by the ATtiny1614 to turn ON and OFF an addressable WS2812B LED strip.

Please also note you will need an UPDI programmer in order to upload the sketch.

Inside the GERBER ZIP file, you will find three (3) GERBER PCB designs, each with the VCNL sensor positioned in a different orientation to better suit your requirements. You can select the design that best fits your needs.
