(DIY) ATARI 2600 MULTI GAME CARTRIDGE

 You can make your own custom Atari 2600 Multi Game Cartridge.

 Hello,

 This is a simple,DIY multi game Atari 2600 cartridge. It has 16 games capacity each 4 kilobytes, total 64KB.

 All components are through hole, marked on the PCB, Easy to solder, Easy to make ;)

 This is a tested and working circuit board. This cartridge is tested with Atari 2600 Jr. (PAL)

Just select 16pcs. your favorite 4 Kilobytes games and make your own custom Atari 2600 Multi Game Cartridge.

You can find many different ROM files on the internet by searching "Atari 2600 ROMS" or "Atari 2600 tosec"

ROM files bigger than 4 kilobytes are not suitable for this cartridge, you can use only 2 or 4 kilobytes ROM files.

If your ROM file is 2KB then you should append it to itself to make a 4Kb file. You can simpy do this with a "HEX-Editor" program.

You should append the 4 Kilobytes 16pcs. ROM files each other, reaching to the size of EPROM capacity, by using a "HEX Editor" program. EPROM must be fully filled from $0000 to $FFFF

In order to protect your electronical devices, always turn off your ATARI 2600 before inserting or removing cartridges.

ALWAYS TURN YOUR ATARI OFF BEFORE CHANGING/SWITHING BETWEEN DIFFERENT ROMS!

If your programmer have capability to test IC chips, like 74LS series, then you should not forget to test them before soldering, some chips may have defect. (TL866 Minipro Programmer is able to test some of logic IC)

Gerber files can be changed at any time. Before paying for the PCBs, be sure to update your orders!
