Vertorix VT1100 Mini – Arduino Compatible CC2530 Development Board
Introduction
The Vertorix VT1100 Mini is a low powered IOT development board compatible with the Arduino IDE. It contains a Ebyte E18-MS1 module and an Arduino compatible Atmega328P Microcontroller. The E18-MS1 is based on the CC2530 chip by Texas Instruments and is FCC, CE and ROHS Certified. The VT1100 Mini can be used to develop low powered IOT devices using the Arduino IDE and supports very low power sleep mode.

VT1100 Specifications
Programming
The Atmega328P can be programmed using the Arduino IDE. The VT1100 was made without built in USB to keep the board compact. A separate USB-to-TTL Serial converter is used to upload sketches. There are many online tutorials for connecting these Converters to an Arduino Pro Mini.
USB-to-TTL Serial Converters:
· CP2102 IC
· FTDI FT232RL USB to serial 3.3V IC
There is also a 6-pin ICSP header to directly program the Atmega328P.
The Atmega328P sends commands to the CC2530 over a SPI interface. An Arduino library and examples are available on GitHub.
The CC2530 comes pre-flashed, ready to use with Z-stack Home 1.2.2a ZNP firmware. The necessary pins are available to re-program the CC2530.
