Touchscreen Card Game Scoring Device
This project is an automated, hardware-driven scoring assistant designed to eliminate human error and calculation delays in complex trick-taking card games (specifically Baloot). By combining ESP32-S3 processing power, ST25R3911B NFC multi-tag scanning, and an automated motorized feeding mechanism, the device scans a player's hand, processes the game's intricate scoring rules via an isolated C-module, and displays the results instantly on a touchscreen UI.
Technical Specifications & PCB Architecture
The PCB is designed around a highly integrated power and control architecture to handle both high-frequency logic and inductive motor loads.
Firmware Framework: Fully built using ESP-IDF (v5.x) with a strictly modular architecture.
Game Logic Isolation: The complex game rule engine and point calculation are decoupled into a standalone, pure C module. This ensures the scoring logic is decoupled from the hardware abstraction layer (HAL) for easy debugging, testing, and portability.
