Tapecart SD

Tapecart SD is an easy to use, Commodore 64 Loader, from a standart SD Card. Tapecart SD loads software from C64 cassette port rapidly. You can only load games/programs with .PRG and .TCRT extensions.

This is a tested and working circuit.

Using Tapecart SD:

You only need to download browser.prg from the source page and save it in to SD Card with your favorite games and programs. Then Press "SHIFT"+"RUN" from your Commodore 64 keyboard.

Arduino pro mini 5V 16MHZ (Requires Programming)

4N25 or 4N27 optocoupler

330 Ohm 1/4 watt resistance

2x8 pin SD Card Module ( NOT Micro SD module ! )

2x6 pin 3.96mm Pitch Card Edge Connector

Before soldering SD card module you should place some isolation tape between PCB and SD card module.

In order to protect your electronical devices, always turn off your Commodore before connecting or disconnecting the cables or any other device.

While transfering data (reading or writing) from SD cards it should not be interrupted like power-off or Reset systems. Otherwise that may damage SD cards.

Gerber files can be changed at any time. Before paying for the PCBs, be sure to update your orders!

As you can see I have uploaded many projects and I am still working on new projects. If you have any questions, please look for answers online. Unless I specify explicitly, all my projects are tested and confirmed to work under normal circumstances before being shared. I'm sorry I didn't have enough time to answer all the questions.
