ST-Link MiniMax
Are you on a budget, yet want to have "professional" tools?
Doing embedded development without a debugger is a death sentence. Back in my early days, debuggers were super expensive! Nowadays, they are more affordable (not Segger's J-Link, that's still expensive), and while ST's own full-sized V3 is not particularly pricey, the small debugger module still costs way less!
If you want to buy a few dozen for a classroom, or your friends also want to own a proper debugger, the savings can be huge! Spend the difference on tools, cables, and MCUs!
This board breaks out to a classic, 20-pin connector (like the ones found on Seggers), the standard 10-pin Arm Cortex debug interface, ST's own 14-pin STDC14, a regular 6-pin IDC debugger, and an RJ-12 for the cheapest TagConnect TC2030 cable, the TC2030-MCP!
Of course, it's compatible with TC2030-IDC, TC2030-CTX, and TC2030-STDC14 too, but those cables cost significantly more.
