STM32F405RGT6 - the IMU Array Sensor Board
We present the STM32F405RGT6 based IMU Array Sensor Board, a motion sensor application solution. Supporting multi-axis IMU sensors, and flex, Why did you decide to make it?
This is my first PCB design project, and I wanted to create something both challenging and practical. I chose this project to learn about integrating sensors, signal handling, and PCB layout. It also addresses a real need for compact, accurate motion sensing in modern technology. The process taught me the importance of attention to detail and problem-solving in electronics design.
How does it work?
Microcontroller: The STM32F405RGT6 processes data from multiple IMU sensors.
Sensors: IMU sensors measure acceleration, rotation, and orientation, communicating with the microcontroller via I2C or SPI.
Data Processing: The data is filtered (e.g., using a Kalman Filter) for accurate motion analysis.
Output: The processed data can be used in applications like drone stabilization or robot navigation.
Integration: The board is designed to be easy to connect with other systems through standard interfaces.
