SMS paddle card (for signals)
IBM's mainframe technology of the 1950s was based on the Standard Modular System (SMS) technology. It defined cards with an edge connector, one sided, having 16 pads for signal interconnect. These printed circuit cards were plugged into sockets. The sockets were installed on backplanes with wire wrap connections between sockets.
Cables connected to a backplane by using one of the sockets and a version of a printed circuit card, called a paddle card. This card can be used to create paddle cards to plug into SMS sockets.
In addition, using this PCB with a 3D printed housing and soldering on some RF shield fingers will create an SMS socket to attach a cable or wires. The housing files are included as well as a reference to the gold fingers that are soldered on to create the socket version.
I recommend 3D printing with Nylon for the housing.
