This is an IO adapter board for the Raspberry Pi 3 based on the awesome Pi1541
project
by Steve White. This is currently very much work in progress. See here for further details.

There is a new revision of this board featuring an I2C display connector!

Nice build! I see you've got the 7406 installed. Will you be adding a second IEC port to this build? Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. No, I haven't added another IEC port. I just put it at the end of the chain, as every original drive has two. Works fine.

  • Here's my version. I still have to fit the IC, a reset key and clean up the flux on the board. It looks passable..... Notice the retro resistors I used...... I am impressed with PCB ways board quality and options.

Nice work, I like the antique resistors. :-) Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for making the Hat available to us! I'll post as I get the Pi running on it. By the way I see on the internet a Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+. It looks similar to the Raspberry Pi Model 3B. Do you know if it would be compatible (computing power and memory wise, I mean) with this hat? I have checked the physical specs and I think it will join correctly. Thank you again. Take care.
