ORS87A - dc to dc converter
This project is a compact single-sided DC-to-DC converter board designed specifically for DIY microphone builders working with single-sided capsules. Powered directly from standard 48V phantom power, the circuit efficiently boosts voltage to +60V and beyond, delivering high polarization voltage for certain professional condenser microphone projects.
Designed originally as an add on for the ORS87 platform but can be used with anyone single sided capsule that takes +60v DC polarisation voltage. If using with a non-ORS87 you may require a high value supply resistor or capacitor (to ground) between the dcdc converter and your main board's input. Check your board design before use.
