DIY High Performance 300W Stereo Class D Amplifier using TAS5630B for Active Powered Speaker and Battery Powered Boom Box.

The Class D amplifier controller modulates the Audio input signal with a 400khz High Frequency PWM signal, the PWM Audio signal drives the Full Bridge power-Stage to amplify the Audio signal.

TAS5630B have multiple control configurations and fault protections. The amplifier module is configured as 300W Stereo BTL, the operating configuration is selected by connecting the control pins M1, M3 to Logic Low and M3 to Logic High. The amplifier is a high efficiency of greater than 88%, it also provides multiple error or failure reporting than can be connected to an MCU for smarter amplifier control and protection management.

The Audio Speaker Protection controller uses STM32 MCU to manage all the control signals of the Class D amplifier to provide smooth turn ON/OFF sequence and Fast Failure protection by switching OFF the Speaker Relay Switch. The MCU controller also provide LED indicators for Fault and Signal Clipping.
