This project is a complete modernization of the classic board game Ludo, transforming it into a sleek, electronic tabletop experience. It is a fully functional, open-source version from the ground up using an ESP32 microcontroller, custom PCBs, and a 3D-printed enclosure.

The board features 108 individually addressable LEDs to represent the game's track, tokens, and a digital die. It maintains the simple, tactile feel of the original with just one button per player for all interactions, while adding modern capabilities like WiFi for saving games, collecting play statistics, and over-the-air updates. The result is a portable, self-contained unit that honors the nostalgia of the original game while leveraging modern technology to enhance gameplay and introduce features that were previously impossible.
