This project is currently not functional.
Due to changes in the used API as well as in ESPHome itself, the setup does not work as described at the moment.
I am working on a solution. As soon as the project is functional again, the code and documentation will be updated accordingly.
The project was created to fill my shoppinglist by scanning ean/gtin codes.
