🔋 18650 Lithium Battery Charger Module
📌 What’s this project about?
This project is a compact charger module designed for a single 18650 lithium-ion battery. The board allows safe and convenient charging of lithium batteries using a 5V USB power source.
It is useful for many electronics projects such as:

💡 Why did I make this project?
I created this module to have a simple and reliable charging solution for 18650 batteries in my DIY electronics projects.
Instead of using large commercial modules, I wanted a small PCB that could easily be integrated into custom devices. Designing this board also helped me practice power electronics and PCB layout for battery circuits.
⚙️ How does it work?
The module uses the popular TP4056 lithium battery charging IC, which is designed specifically for single-cell lithium-ion batteries like the 18650 lithium-ion battery.

TP4056 battery charging IC
USB input connector (5V)
Charging status LEDs
Protection circuit (optional depending on design)
Battery connection pads
🔄 Operation
1️⃣ A 5V power source (USB) is connected to the module.
2️⃣ The TP4056 IC regulates the charging current and safely charges the battery.
3️⃣ The charging process follows the constant current / constant voltage method.
4️⃣ LEDs indicate the charging status:
🔴 Charging
🟢 Fully charged
5️⃣ Once fully charged, the battery is ready to power your electronics project.
