This is a custom 16-pin castellated adapter board designed to integrate the Quectel FGH100M Wi-Fi HaLow module into the Lilygo T-Deck ecosystem. Powered by the Morse Micro MM6108 silicon, this module delivers a theoretical 1-kilometer Sub-1 GHz range and standard SPI network stack compatibility in a highly compact form factor.

Design Features

Optimized RF Path: Features a top-layer 50-ohm coplanar waveguide with 45° chamfers pointing directly to Pin 8 for clean antenna propagation.

Thermal Management: Incorporates a tightly stitched ground via grid under the central LGA thermal pad to dissipate heat from the power amplifier during high-current TX bursts.

Power Bus Routing: Widened 3.3V power traces easily handle sharp 350mA+ current spikes without triggering voltage droop or module resets.

Critical Ordering Parameters To ensure the board fits the T-Deck and the edges are milled correctly, you must explicitly select these parameters when checking out:

Thickness: 0.8 mm or 0.4 mm (Standard 1.6 mm will sit too high in the housing and is prone to tearing during edge routing).

Surface Finish: ENIG (Mandatory for perfectly flat LGA pad mounting and reliable castellation soldering).

Castellated Holes: You must check the "Half-Hole Process" or "Castellated Holes" box so the CAM engineers use the correct edge-milling bit.

Assembly Notes Due to the tight pitch of the FGH100M LGA package, hand-soldering the bare module is not recommended.
