Stackable-6502-BaseBoard
Stackable 6502 Computer base board based on Ben Eater's design.
This version of Ben Eater's 6502 Breadboard computer uses a "stackable" design similar to Arduino boards and shields. The CPU, memory, VIA, and address decoding are on the base board. A separate board provides I/O capabilities such as RS232 serial, SD cards, ADC's, and LED's.
The design is intended to allow new boards to be designed in the future, such as memory expansion, LCD displays, and so on. Due to the use of stackable Arduino-style headers, it is very easy to jumper the computer over to a breadboard for tinkering.
Note: The stackable headers are not compatible with any existing Arduino layout such as Uno or Mega2560. Address, data, and control lines from the 65C02 are broken out for use on daughter boards. The I/O pins on the 65C22 VIA are also broken out.
The base board is 156mm x 82mm and has 4 layers. GND and 5V planes are on the two inner layers.
