Flight_Sim_Collective_From_USB_BrakePCB.kicad_pcb
This circuit board is for the electronic interface for a USB collective, cyclic or joystick used for flight sims. two 20 pin and one 10 pin 2.54mm pin sockets are used to connect the MCU, a STM32 Bluepill, and analog to digital converter (ADC), ADS1115 module. The ADC can be skipped if desired. Bluepill has integrated 14-bit ADC's while the ADS1115 has four 16-bit ADC's. Analog connections, hall effect sensors or variable resistors, are through four 3 pin 2.54mm screw terminals at the bottom of the board, if using the ADS1115. Switches, buttons, encoders or LED's are connected to 30 2 pin 2.54mm screw terminals arranged a long the left, right and bottom edges of the board. 2 pin terminal include the signal and a ground connection.
Firmware use on the Bluepill is Freejoy. Freejoy and instructions to install it can be found on GITHUB (https://github.com/FreeJoy-Team/FreeJoy).
