The design was based on the Open Source card schemes "Adafruit HUZZAH ESP8266 Breakout" and the information that other makers had documented by internet for the design of the schemes.

The KiCad design software, completely open, was used to create an out-of-the-ordinary printed circuit board with rounded edges and full of tentacles.

Thanks to the collaboration with OSHPARK, American manufacturer of the famous purple PCBs, the shape of the card was modified so that the machines of manufacture could cut the difficult contours of the tentacles. A challenge!

The Oshwi Badge includes a module with the famous integrated wifi ESP8266 that has revolutionized the internet scene of things. This module allows you to create or connect to wifi networks and is programmable from the Arduino platform.

Also included in the card are pushbuttons and five multicolored LEDs WS2812. It is powered by a small lipo battery.
