In a previous writeup and video, I made a clock using a PCB as a diffuser. In this continuation of the project, I've implemented the design for three faces. Each is linked together via male/female header pins, and control is via a single ESP32 Wemos S2 Mini board.

There were a few challenges along the way, including figuring out the best way to diffuse light through the front PCB, while blocking light elsewhere. After a few experiments, bare FR4 was used, surrounded by copper and a black solder mask.

In operation, the device checks the time via WiFi and NTP, and offsets each time as programmed for different zones. A frame made out of 2020 aluminum extrusion holds everything together. While It's a great looking clock, there are still a few finishing touches I'd like to add to make it complete... if such a state exists!
