TC Logger Device is a simple thermocouple USB reader: help you to measure any process you need using the USB protocol an a simple software developed in Python. The project was chosen to test the USB communication, explore the interface PC-Embedded system. The project is able to use two thermocouple at the same time and share the data to the computer at a speed of 5Hz. (5 samples per second). The main microprocessor is the PIC18F14K50.

In order to certificate and validate most products of the industry, We need to make sure none of the components gets out of the temperature specification of their datasheet. For that reason, It is very important to keep track of the temperature while running any test. In addition, I have seen many times how some components just break when you try to reflow or solder them. This tool allow us to monitorize the temperature of a specific point with a thermocouple so you make sure everything is OK.

The device connects with USB to a computer, and the software is made with Python, so you can log and save all the data for yoour reports. With the device you can monitorice up to 2 thermocouple.
