TCD1304 PCB
This is a simple PCB I made to accommodate a TCD1304 linear CCD and its driving circuit. This circuit allows me to drive the CCD with a microcontroller and read the output of it. I added 4 holes to the corners of the PCB, so it can be mounted in an enclosure or on something. The corners are rounded, so there are no annoying sharp edges. The PCB will be used for building a spectrometer, a special camera and a displacement sensor.
The CCD is driven by three signals: a master clock (fM), a shift gate clock (SH) and an integration clear gate clock (ICG). The master clock is a 2 MHz square wave signal (50% duty cycle PWM), and the other two clocks and their duty cycles are based on the desired integration time. The clocks are generated by three timers on an STM32F401CCU6 microcontroller. The ICG and SH clocks are tied together via a trigger so the pixels are shifted properly.
