Stepper Motor Controller Gerber
In this project I am going to show you how to make a stepper motor controller using a 555 timer IC.
This homemade stepper motor controller can control the speed and the direction of a four wire stepper motor. The controller is based around the popular A4988 stepper motor driver. The PWM signal is provided to the board using a 555 timer IC which make this whole project very simple.
To make the whole controller convenient to use I have designed the Printed Circuit Boards and ordered them from PCBWAY.com. They are providing great quality PCBs at an outstanding prices.
