Solid State Relay Voice Modulator S.S.R model F
Solid State Relay Voice Modulator S.S.R model F.
Signal switching design. Designed for Low Speed switching of the Voice ON and OFF in a Voice Modulator Design.
S.S.R model E was the 1st of the full size PCB for a Voice Modulator.
S.S.R model F is now the 2nd of the full size PCB for a Voice Modulator.
The 7555 IC CMOS Timer is used as a L.F.O (low frequency oscillator) to create pulses of D.C power to trigger the Solid State Relay unit. The S.S.R then turns the Voice ON and OFF.
KG3RD50D2-5 is a full size large 20 pin spacing 5 volt DC SSR.
Optional SY4090 is a small 6 pin spacing SSR IC. But not tested in this design.
This 7555 IC is used as a rectangle waveform generator.
Variable Duty Cycle from the noisy square wave to the less noisy rectangle waveform.
Standard to fit the Jaycar Stereo Pre-amplifier KJ8074 kit.
Optional to use other Audio Pre-amplifiers. PCB mounted headers and plugs are provided as an easier way to connect a wiring harness from the pre-amp to the main board.
Suitable for beginners at soldering. Big solder pad's with big drill holes. Wider copper tracks with wider spacing between the components.
3 separate models can be assembled from the Main PCB.
Basic : For beginner's.
Intermediate : For more experienced at electronics.
Advanced : More detailed case preparation.
More detailed wiring harness.
Guitar Effect's Pedal Ready to operate the external sound effect's.
Originally designed and intended for experienced Dalek Vocal Performer's.

Aluminium Case is 171mm X 121mm X 55mm.
Print off some black and white photocopies for the Front Label. Then cut down to size to fit the top cover of the Case.

The Advanced Model is the best.
Only a tiny amount of Electrical Switching Noise will make it to the speaker. So you can use the Toggle Switch to turn OFF the power to the LFO circuit and 9 volt circuit and the SSR circuit when you are not talking into the Microphone.
