Smart Doorbell
You surely know this feeling when the doorbell rings while you are doing something interesting: watching a movie, playing a video game, or spending a romantic evening with your loved one. And when it turns out that this is an uninvited/unwanted guest, you get even more pissed off.
Of course, you can ignore it and not open the door, but there will always be this hint of uncertainty – “maybe it was important”.
The solution to this problem is the “smart doorbell”. Thanks to it, you’ll know if it is worth getting up from the couch and opening the door or not.
SCHEMATIC:

PCB:
As you can see on the schematic, I based my project on ESP32. It’s a big brother of the ESP8266 chip, which wouldn’t be able to process the image from the camera. It is a very popular module, so it is very universal. It has Bluetooth and WiFi, so it can be connected to most home automation systems.

The project also has a second PCB. Which acts as a capacitive button. Link:https://www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/Smart_Doorbell_Touch_Button_1ded0f99.html
As a result, all electronics can be closed in a sealed housing. Thanks to this, it will be more resistant to weather conditions.

Ready PCB looks lite this:

CASE:
The housing was printed on a 3D printer.

And the front panel is made of 3mm plexiglass. Painted black on the underside with a regular spray. I left only the window for the camera and the backlight of the capacitive button. But if resistance is not needed, the front panel can also be printed.

Ready case:

There is also a video with a step-by-step process.
