Construction and industrial workers often operate in environments where accidents, falls, and adverse environmental conditions can pose serious risks. This project is a compact helmet-mounted smart safety module designed to improve worker safety through real-time monitoring and emergency alert capabilities.

The system is built around the ESP32-S3 microcontroller and integrates multiple sensors and alert mechanisms into a single low-cost wearable device. An MPU6050 IMU is used for motion and fall detection, allowing the system to identify sudden impacts or abnormal movement patterns. A BME280 environmental sensor continuously monitors temperature, humidity, and atmospheric conditions around the worker.

In emergency situations, a dedicated SOS button allows the user to manually trigger an alert. Visual status indications are provided through WS2812B RGB LEDs, while an active buzzer generates audible warnings for critical events. The device also includes battery voltage monitoring to track power status and ensure reliable operation in the field.

Power is supplied by a rechargeable 3.7V Li-ion/LiPo battery. A USB Type-C interface and TP4056 charging circuit enable convenient charging, while the ME6211 voltage regulator provides a stable 3.3V supply for all electronics.

It is designed as a practical, low-cost solution that can be attached to existing industrial safety helmets, making advanced worker monitoring more accessible and scalable.
