I designed a custom motor driver PCB using EasyEDA, featuring the MCT8315Z smart BLDC driver for sensorless Field-Oriented Control (FOC). This PCB is built to provide high-efficiency, low-noise, and precise control of three-phase BLDC motors, making it ideal for drones, robotics, and industrial automation. Unlike traditional motor controllers that rely on Hall sensors, this design leverages sensorless back EMF detection, reducing cost and complexity while maintaining smooth and accurate motor performance.

The PCB supports multiple control interfaces, including PWM, UART, and I²C, allowing seamless integration with STM32, ESP32, or Arduino for real-time motor control. With an input voltage range of 8V–40V, built-in MOSFETs, and integrated protections for overcurrent, thermal shutdown, and overvoltage, the design ensures reliable operation under varying load conditions. Optimized PCB routing reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) for clean and stable operation.

This project was developed to create a compact, powerful, and cost-effective motor driver that outperforms bulky, inefficient alternatives. By leveraging EasyEDA, the design is modular and easily modifiable, making it suitable for high-speed motion control applications.
