Robotic Arm PCB
I made this project because a friend of mine lost his arm in an accident and since I am an electrical/mechanical engineer, my friend wanted me to make him an arm. I am not done with the arm yet sadly but I have made most of the electronics.
It will be driven by 5 stepper motors. One for the shoulder joint, one for the elbow joint, one for hand rotation, and 2 for the hand. All are driven by 2 ATTiny88 modules and 3 A4988 stepper motor drivers.
It will hopefully in the end be driven by an Ai running on a Raspberry Pi that will detect when you bend down or do certain gestures to move the arm. But at the moment, it will just be buttons for predetermined actions.
Here is a link to a video that demonstrates the basic principle of what I want to do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ip83qSrecLo&t=909s
