RGB LED Party Glasses.
DESCRIPTION
A set of glasses featuring 173 RGB LEDs. Driven by an on-board 32bit ARM controller and arduino compatible. USB port for programming.
LEDs are APA102 2x2mm types.
The battery connector on the rear is designed to run a cable down the arm of the glasses and behind your ear.
TECHNICAL DETAILS / COMPONENTS
See attached BOM.
Arduino compatible ATSAMD21 drives a sigle string of APA102 LEDs. The design makes use of the FastLED library and uses the onboard serial hardware of the Microcontroller to drive the LEDs.
An on board Accelerometer connected via I2C is used to detecte taps on the side of the glasses to cycle through modes.
