Description

Playstation 2 Matrix PicFix V9, V10, V12

This small modchip is to protect laser from burning on the 9, V10 and V12 revisions of the Playstation 2.

Parts needed:

- PIC12F508-I/SN

- 1UF 0603 MLCC capacitor

- 1.5K 0603 Resistor

- 2.2K 0603 Resistor

When taking them to production paste the line below so they don't get confused.

"There are no mask openings in the back side, therefore the B.Mask gerber layer is empty. Please apply the mask to the whole backside of the board.”

Note from the author: The IC on the modchip has to be flashed with the proper software, and users need some type of programmer with an adapter to do that on the pcb as ot will be soldered.
