Description
PPS Watch - The Most Accurate Watch That Doesn’t Tell Time
The PPS Watch is a wearable GPS timing reference disguised as the world’s least useful watch. It doesn’t tell time, but it outputs an accurate one-pulse-per-second signal through BNC, accepts an external PPS input, and uses LEDs to show GPS PPS, input PPS, and sync/phase comparison. Two of them can stay synchronized anywhere in the world with a clear view of the sky.
The project is fully open source, with KiCad files, CAD files, firmware-free hardware design notes, and assembly info available on GitHub:
