We've owned a NordicTrack Spacesaver SE7i elliptical machine for many years, and use it regularly for exercise, especially in the cold Canadian winter. Unfortunately some of the plastic bearing supports are plastic and are becoming brittle, causing excess noise and ultimately mechanical failure. Seeing that replacement OEM parts were easily $40 each (not including import fees, shipping, and taxes!) I decided that the part is relatively simple and dusted off my CAD skills.

After a few evenings of work in FreeCAD, I sent the part for printing in what was listed as a tough material, Nylon with SLS printing. My machine would need a total of 4 of these, 2 for each side, with an inner and and an outer piece.Hopefully it holds up long term. The part fits well and is snug to the bearing and the pedal arm socket, with the machine running smoothly again.

At least if the opposite side bushings start to fail I will have a reasonably priced replacement piece. If you need to print it, based on the replacement parts site it seems this part is used on a number of other models of NordicTrack elliptical machines.
