MegaWang 2000 Turbo Edition - Chars

This video shows the new Character layers working with the Commodore 64 and additional hardware. This shows three layer parallax with optional dithering. These are using surface mount components instead of the old through hole design. Surface mount is a lot easier to find compared to through hole.

This is part of a modular audio and video hardware for retro machines like the Commodore 64. Designed to use 74LS series TTL ICs available back in the 1980s/1990s, something you can solder at home from parts or order ready assembled.
