Precision created in the powerful free KiCad tool, this project includes high quality SMD components, such as a 0603 sized LED that offers a warm, festive glow, accompanied by a 0805 resistor tuned to optimise LED brightness and maintain low power consumption. The design also integrates a CR2032 battery socket, enabling compact, cordless power for a sleek and portable experience. In addition, a PCM12SMTR switch facilitates easy on/off switching, extending battery life. The PCB design includes 50Ω resistors as standard; however, this value may vary depending on the colour of LED used. In situations where a resistor is not required, the PCB has been designed with optional solder jumpers to facilitate direct connection.
