MISRC - Multi Input Simultaneous Raw RF Capture Rev 1.5a
Developed as a 3rd capture option for the decode projects outside of the CX Cards and DomesDay Duplicator methods this brings far more flexibility for not only for FM RF capture, but marks a milestone end in the battle for USB 3.0 based capture devices that will just work on virtually any CVBS or S-Video source allowing for stable true reference captures of hardware output from devices.
This is currently a development board, without dedicated settings dips per signal type so the DC offset pot has to be adjusted if you wish to capture CVBS.
NOTE: Requires adapter PCB for Tang Nano 20k (current misrc_capture) or FX3 development board. (old Sigrok method)
NOTE:
- The vias in the pads are there on purpose, there is a bottom pad on the voltage regulator, for hand soldering the vias are necessary to solder that pad and it's for thermal reasons.
- From 05.02.2025 V1.5a is now the production version of this board, crystal package and SMA connector has been changed.
Features:
- Two 12-bit ADCs (upto 65msps / 40msps stock)
- Selectable input gain (8 steps)
- Selectable ADC range (1V or 2V)
- Selectable input impedance (75, 50, 37.5 and 30 ohms)
- DC or AC (pre- or post-termination) coupling
- Zero-adjust to compensate DC offset
- Latching clipping indicator
- Clock source selectable: USB PLL, crystal or external
- Output clock to external device
- Melted PCB Traces
