MIDI Interface Commodore C64 compatible with Datel, Passport, Sequential
This is simple DIY MIDI Interface for Commodore C64. It is compatible with Datel/JMS, Passport, Sequential and has MIDI IN, OUT and THRU
The MIDI standard is selected by jumpers. Jumper setting is printed on the board.
It is created based on information presented on following page https://www.neperos.com/article/pp6loj56370b9c3e
Optocoupler used in the design is H11L1. (4N35 wil typically not work due to speed limit)
I have used GAL16V8D instead of descrete logic to save some space and cost (they are still available for example on Aliexpress).
I have attached jdec file. You need to program the file to GAL (e.g. with XGecu T48).
