The Fortium Welding Jig is an open-source, multifunctional guiding tool designed to make welding faster, more precise, and user-friendly. Built to handle various angles, it allows for secure clamping of materials, such as tubes and sheets, in an ideal welding position. This project aims to help DIYers, small workshops, and professional welders achieve better results with less effort.

Why did you decide to make it?

In my workshop, aligning and securely clamping materials for welding was always time-consuming, requiring additional hands or makeshift solutions. I wanted to simplify this process by creating a tool that could lock materials into the perfect position, every time. By making it open source, I hope to share this solution with the global welding community and encourage others to innovate on this design.

How does it work?

The jig's versatile design allows it to be clamped onto different material types and shapes, offering stable positioning at various angles. You simply place the material in the correct spot, tighten the clamps, and you're ready to weld with precision. Its modular form can be adapted to different projects, and with multiple anchor points, it ensures maximum flexibility.
