Fetal Movement Monitoring System
Our project is a wearable, non-invasive fetal monitoring system that tracks fetal movements in real time, providing early detection of abnormalities to ensure better prenatal care. We aimed to address the limitations of traditional fetal monitoring methods, such as manual tracking inaccuracies and the inconvenience of frequent hospital visits, by creating an affordable, home-based solution for expectant mothers. The system uses strategically placed accelerometer sensors to capture fetal movements. The data is processed using an ESP32 microcontroller, which filters noise, classifies movements, and sends real-time alerts to a mobile app via Bluetooth, ensuring timely insights for caregivers.
