Earth Station
My main reason for designing this receiver front end was to study RF and try to get a grip on RF PCB design. The board has tight impedance control and attempts to minimise undesirable RF reflections throughout. The receiver includes provision for a bias T, band switching, polarisation switching and external clock reference. Also it allows the signal to be switched through a range of filters depending on the application frequency.
