Dirty 27C4096 to 27C400 Adapter v3
A quick and dirty adapter that allows you to use a 27C4096 in place of a 27C400. Note this adapter is wider and taller. Amiga 500, 2000.
May fit the A600 or other systems that need a 27C400 pinout. You may need to remove the socket and solder this straight in, and or solder the 27C4096 into the adapter... It's up to you!
Rev 3 now has a jumper to allow support with rev 3, 4 or 5 Amigas. A17 was mapped differently on those early machines.
Set the jumper to 1-2 for rev 6 onwards.
Set the jumper to 2-3 for rev 3, 4 or 5.
13/05/2025 - Tested OK against rev 3, 5 and 6 using this rev 3 design.
Should work on the older rev 4 2000 as well.
