Commodore 8296 - UE5 replacement using ONE GAL 22v10
Most of the defect Commodore 8296 Computer have a problem with the PLA chips (UE5 and/or UE6). After replace the PLA chips most of this old Computers running fine.

My changes are only using another GAL (ATF 22v10) cause the 20v10 is difficult to get currently.
You will need one GAL 22v10 (Lattice) or ATF 22v10 (Atmel).
To program this GAL you need the JEDEC files below and a Programmer (for example TL866).
To test this adapter you can use the "PLA to TL866 adapter" (other shared project):
